😍7 Tips on How To Live a Happy Life 😍  


Everyone is different, and everyone has different view on what happiness should be. I know before, my habits weren't the best, my mindset, or anything. I thought money would make problems go away, and improve my life. Little did I realize that money and material things only go so far to make you happy, the rest is internal. 😘 

 Be Greatful! 💖 
Think about all the amazing things in your life, there are so many things to be greatful for. Children, friends, nature, etc. I have a gratitude journal, and each day I record something I am greatful for. Doing this also releases optimism in your brain! 

Exercise! 👊 
So of course you all know that exercise is great for your body, but did you also know that it releases endorphins? Endorphins make you feel amazing, and happy, and the feeling can last for up to 12 hours!

Be kind to Others! 👩‍❤️‍👨
Help a friend, a stranger, volunteer, donate, or even just a friendly smile releases dopamine! 

Surround yourself with friends and loved ones! 😍 
Don't forget how important it is to spend time with friends and family! Oxytocin, “the hormone of love,” floods your brain and body when you’re in close proximity to the ones you love. Having close friends may increase your life expectancy as much as quitting smoking. 

Get enough sleep! 😴 
Sleep is good, bottom line. Don't you feel better after a good nights sleep? When you sleep, your organs recuperate, your cells regenerate, your thoughts suspend, and when you wake up, you are literally a new person. That means you can leave behind whatever was troubling about your day and start over with a clean slate in the morning. 

Notice your thought patterns, and change and negative ones! 😁
 This is such an important one - sometimes it is hard to stay positive, and think positive. When I started my journey I also started to change my thinking, and trust me, it really pays off. — whether spoken out loud or simply uttered internally — become habits when they’re frequent enough. 

Meditate! 🙏
When you are alert but relaxed, your brain can slip into soothing alpha waves — like a mini massage for your brain. Meditation may have numerous health benefits, ranging from reduced stress to slower aging, and yes — increased happiness. Not sure how to do it? I promise, meditation is not as hard as it seems. Hello! Welcome to my page! My name is Meghan Bennett, and I am a 25 year old residing in Toronto, with my lovely family.  💖

I have a wonderful boyfriend, Jon, and two girls, Lily who is 7, and Isabelle, who is 16 months old. 
I am a student, currently earning my degree in Early Childhood Leadership.
